Three sim only contracts

I'm struggling to choose between the £10 and £15 a month sim only contracts. Most months I will only use a relatively small amount of data - less than 1GB - so the £10 a month would do. But on the odd occasion tethering might come in handy.

Does anyone know if there's an option to add tethering in the months when I might need it, or to upgrade the contract part way through the 12 month term?

That 1GB can be used than tethering

Unless you mean you'd want more than 1GB?

Sorry, to clarify, it would be useful to have a bit more data in general - hence looking at 2GB plus tariffs. Sometimes I might find it useful to do a small amount of tethering but only on the very rare times when I'm away from wifi. As I understand it, tethering is only an included option on the £15 a month tariff, which is why I'm wondering if there's flexibility to add tethering or upgrade the tariff on the months when I'd need it.

All the Three SIM only contracts include tethering. The all you can eat data is limited to 4 GB tethered. Beware of changing use with data, an hour of YouTube video or catch up TV, can easily consume 1 GB of data. The Three plans with all you can eat data mean you won't run out, although they are limited to 4 GB tethered. I have been researching, via YouTube equipment reviews, this month and have already used 8 GB on the phone (not tethered)...

My OH went from a PAYG phone with no internet to a SIM only Three contract using an iPhone, she now listens to internet radio at work 5 days a week... Good job she has unlimited data.
