Do EE/T-mobile spam? And if so, any luck getting them to stop?
I understand Orange T-mobile and EE have joined together. Orange were notorious spammers. Famously people would request for texts to stop and eventually they came back I just signed up for t-mobile. I noticed that any time I call 150 I get a survey text asking me if i'm satisfied. And there may be monthly billing related…

My wife has an Orange phone on PAYG - an ancient Nokia 3210 - anyway, her signal, at home is now virtually non-existant I have scanned for a new signal and EE doesn't appear on her list of connections - only Orange + virgin I am assuming that the Orange transmitter has been switched off - in favour of an EE one ? GadgetWear - Anybody used them?
Hey, I've always used EBay for my phone cases but the last couple haven't been the best - I've noticed a new site called GagdetWear popping up in Google - has anyone used them? I'm always a little nervous of companies I haven't used before, so any feedback on them is appreciated. Thanks! :rotfl:

Acer liquid Z5 5" smart phone bargain in ASDA.
ASDA are selling this phone for just £95, I've bought one and I'm very impressed with it, it is sold unlocked although comes with an ASDA sim. It must be selling well (as soon as it's on the website it's sold out again). Just sent off for the cover to protect the screen (only £1 from ASDA, £22.50 elsewhere).

Is there a way to stop texts with top-up offers?
Is there a way to stop mobile phone providers constantly sending texts with top-up offers and the like? I have a couple of PAYG phones with Virgin and Vodafone. These are emergency phones for an elderly relative and someone with special needs. It's really confusing for them when their phones ring with these messages.

Help needed - Samsung Galaxy Note 2
Hi everyone I've had a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for the last couple of years and have been very happy with it but it now seems to have developed a problem and I hope someone here might be able to help me. When I turn on the phone, the screen comes on okay but it just stays with the Samsung logo on the screen - nothing else…

SIM only deal - not giffgaff
Can anyone recommend the best deal on a sim only deal for an iPhone. I'm currently on an unlimited data deal with giffgaff but I'm quite frankly loathing them as they keep cutting my internet off due to what they call tethering. I'm well aware of what this is, but when I've gone out of my way to get individual sim's for…

Missed calls
Not sure if I should post here or the Techie board but here goes. Does the iPhone not show if you have a missed call? I am told you have to consciously interrogate the menu to check if there have been any. My current (now very old) Nokia sends you a message that stays on screen until you deal with the information. Why…

EE & Three, lack of voicemail security
Despite all the recent publicity concerning newspaper reporters easily hacking into voice mail boxes, it appears Three and EE still haven't secured theirs against an easily implemented attack: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2014/04/24/voicemail_still_easy_to_hack/

Barclays Mobile Phone Insurance (Lifestyle Services Group) - alternative number?
Going through Barclays for a mobile insurance claim. Filled out and sent the relevant documentation to them yesterday. Despite having provided TWO telephone numbers to them, they have emailed and asked me to phone them on an 0845 number. I've just tried, but after 30 minutes (£3) waiting, I hung up. Does anyone have an…

sending sms from pc on mobile phone web site
I need a mobile phone supplier that has the option to send sms/texts online on its web site to other network users on their phones. Orange used to do this and so did O2 but O2 didn't have the address book that orange kept which was really useful. Do you know of any suppliers that still offer this option. I just want to buy…

Family Deals for Mobile Contracts?
I would like to switch over myself, my wife and my two daughters to one provider for hopefully cost and ease of management benefits - so basically there are 4 brand new contracts on offer to a network / re-seller. Having just contacted EE, O2, Vodafone and Tesco Mobile they don't appear to offer any discount for this,…

Is EE customer service below average?
I feel I am regretting taking a contract out with them. I have been with Orange for six years and was considering leaving after poor customer service with EE when I went in to a shop asking what I would get for an upgrade. Orange 'powered by EE' so inevitably everyone will be passed across to EE. Firstly I was unable to…

T mobile data charging
I've posted before about mistakes in my billing from T mobile. I got my new bill yesterday and despite phoning and receiving assurances every month for the last two months my bill is still wrong. Time for a written complaint. However as a side issue, my daughter has gone over her data allowance. She used to have 250 meg, I…

Nokia Lumia 520 screen shattered
Hi. I had the Nokia Lumia 520 phone as an upgrade from 3 today. As I was taking the back off the screen shattered and the touch screen does not work at all. I have been in touch with 3 Customer Service who advised me to speak to Nokia and I would need to meet the costs myself. I, however, am of the belief that the phone…
