T-Mobile 0870/International Roaming/FUP rip-offs - help - criminal investigation
It looks as though there is a good possibility of getting the police to launch a criminal investigation into T-Mobile (now Everything Everywhere) and its VP Legal, James Blendis, under the Fraud Act 2006. If you are willing to make a witness statement, please get in touch via PM, if T-Mobile has done any of the following:…

Orange vs Carphone Warehouse
Hi Guys, Decided to plump for the Desire HD. I think I'm going to move from O2 to Orange, purely because O2 are offering me nothing, and they don't stock the HD anyway. My question is - is it really any different buying straight from Orange rather than through Carphone Warehouse? I've never used CPW before. Orange offer…

IPhone 4 on contract or bought outright?
Hi people, I'm contemplating making the move from Android to IPhone (gulp!). However I can't decide whether to go contract and pay less for the phone outright and more per month or buy the phone direct from Apple and then get a sim-only tariff. Contract will prob be £99 for the phone and £35 a month. If I buy it outright…

Advice re. internet usage abroad
Hi recently returned from Egypt to find that my monthly bill had risen from the usual contract amount of £17 to £272.00 taken directly from my account. I have checked my bill and have spoken with Orange who confirmed that as the amount has been taken off my account, there is nothing that they can do to bring this down. I…

I have spent a month looking for the new phone that I want, at the right price. I made several calls to Orange to barter and negotiate, but they won't budge on the phone (they quoted me £80 to pay for the phone). The contract I want, through a 3rd party has a FREE phone on the same tarrif. When I called up to tell Orange I…

expensive texts messages - help!
A few months ago I arranged a contract mobile phone for my disabled daughter. This was arranged through Orange and as she is not working, this became a joint account with my existing mobile account. Payment each month is deducted from my bank account. January over £220 was taken in DD. I called them today to find out why…

Suspending contract whilst abroad working
Hi everyone, My sister has got a 7 month performing contract in Spain starting the end of March. She's currently in a contract with 3 and has asked them if they can suspend her contract for 6 months as she obviously doesn't want to use a UK mobile at extortionate costs whilst she's abroad. She's planning on using Skype on…

I'm on ASDA PAYG. I make little use of calls and texts but I would like to make more use of the Internet on my phone. ASDA charge 20p per Mb but I have no idea how this translates to actual use in terms of £ per minute. Can anyone advise me please?

Going abroad with an iphone
I am going on holiday with my iphone for the first time. I read some horror stories a few months back about charges on it when you are abroad. Hutchison 3G - Help!
Hi guys, Been reading a few threads on these and instead of bumping up an old thread I decided to create a new one seeing as I couldnt find an answer I was looking for. What mid range Android phone?
I'm now fed up with my crappy Nokia 5800. Symbian crashes 2-3 times every month and I spend time on fixing everything. So I want to buy an Android phone (unlocked PAYG). HTC Wildfire has low quality screen resolution (240x320). But otherwise it ticks all boxes. Price around £150. I fancy HTC Desire. But at £350…
