Carphone Warehouse's sneaky tactics?
I have just got off the phone to the Carphone Warehouse after complaining about my phone bill for what must be about the 7th time and I just wanted to know if anyone else has similar problems with them? To summarise: I took out a 24 month contract with O2 through the Carphone Warehouse some months ago. In the 'verbal…

29 Days Later...
Hi all. New to the forums, hope everyone's well. I just have a quick question about my rights and what I should do. On the 22nd June 2010, I took out an 18 month contract with o2, I got myself a HTC HD2, two days later, I decided I would be better suited to the HTC Desire, so went to a o2 store, and exchanged the phone…

Getting a Business Tariff (Not a Business)
Ok so I was wondering if anyone can get a business tariff. I mean I am not a business, I don't run a business nor do I intend to. I was wondering if there are any legal reasons why someone can't just buy a Business Tariff even though they are using it for personal use. I would be going with 02 and getting the Blackberry…

Currently sharing a smartphone with 500mb data usage a month from O2. We only have 80mb left for 5 days, so having to be careful. If we were to get another sim and pay £10 p/m to top that sim for 500mb from that sim, would that be okay to do and would it work, or is it the phone that can only do 500mb? It's PAYG. In…

Trying to get an iPhone on Orange without paying through the nose
Hi! I am in an orange contract which is £25 a month for 600 mins, unlimited texts and unlimited internet. My handset is a decidedly knackered C902. To get onto this contract, I haggled at the end of my last one, and they gave me the free handset and lowered the price a bit. I am now nearing the end of this contract and -…

T-Mobile web sales problem
I have a t-mobile contract phone and used their web site to upgrade my phone and renew my contract. The site told me to renew my contract and then to pick the phone I wanted to upgrade to. I had waited weeks for the phone I wanted to drop down in price (which it did, by half); so I set about renewing my contract and…

T-mobile telling lies when buying phone....a cautionary tale
I bought a new T-mobile phone last week, Samsung Galaxy Portal, but before I went through the on-line purchase I checked via T-mobile on-line chat assistance, what version of Android it had. I was told 1.5 (which is a bit outdated and a concern when taking a 24 month contract - if they don't upgrade it, where will it stand…
