Vodafone international bar?

I have a contract with Vodafone, and today I got a text saying they'd decided to remove the international bar for free or something. I could text a reply to cancel them doing so.

What is this? Will it cost me anything to have it?

It stop the phone being able to call outside the UK.

I like to have it on personally. If you lose your phone and some scarg finds it they usually start calling India or Pakistan for hours which will cost you ££££ until you clock that it's gone walkabout. With the bar on they can still run up a bill calling in the UK, but no where near as much as if it wasn't. . .

Yeah I thought it might be something like that. I'll cancel it, but should I ever need it can I get it removed?

I'm just curious because they said they decided to remove it for free..

Don't know about Voda, but its free on all the networks I've ever been on ??

Just a call to CS will add or remove it. You also need to have to removed if you leave the UK. It'll stop roaming from working if you don't !

It's always free on vodafone - they're probably just trying to make it sound like they are doing you a favour!
