End of Orange contract
Totally clueless about mobile contracts. Coming to an end of an 18 month contract with Orange. We had Orange contract as we had no landline at that time. Now we do have a landline, we hardly ever use the mobile. Can we change to pay as you go? Any advice would be appreciated.

My husband has a Sony W910i for around 12 months. He is a machine operator for a welding company. The phone sits in his pocket all the time he is at work. He finds it very difficult to hear on this phone just lately, a couple of years ago he had a similar problem with a different phone (samsung I believe) and it turned out…

Without going into massive detail, I currently have a contract on T Mobile, along with 2 further contracts. One for OH one for DS. All three contracts are in my OH's name. My "wonderful" OH has been logging onto internet billing and taking note of who I call and text and when. When he couldn't reach me on Monday he took it…

vodafone 3000 free text when you topup £5
Can anyone help? I sent off for the free sim from vodafone as advised by moneysaving expert two newsletters ago and have topped up with £5 but there is no sign of the free 'unlimited' 3000 texts. Is this a scam? Has anyone else tried this and had better luck?

I've just signed up for an iPhone 3G £35 per month contract. The phone is out for delivery today. I've just looked online and they have already billed me for 1 month, even though I haven't had the phone yer. Ordered on the 7th April - billed on the 9th April for £35 and payment being taken on the 23rd April. Why am I…

Mobile Stolen - No Insurance - Should I Pay?
This one is amazing... I am currently on holiday in India. I had a dreadful leaving party on the night before I flew, and my telephone was stolen. I even know who stole it, although it will be impossible to prove from a police point of view. I woke up, rather dazed, and realised that my phone was missing. I had to rush to…

Returning a Pay and Go mobile
I bought the LG Cookie on Pay and Go from O2 just over a week ago and I'm not happy with it at all. When texting words will just disappear during or after typing them, the touch screen doesn't always respond and the battery life is shocking. Once the indicator is at 2 bars it drops very quickly and will be completely dead…

Migrating from E2Save to O2
Can anyone help me with a query? I got a 12-month contract with O2 via e2save about 13 months ago. I've seen a deal I like on o2.co.uk. It's important to me that I keep my number. So, the question is: Can I port my number from O2 (e2save) to O2 proper? Another question, do I have to give them a month's notice? How exactly…

Massive Mobile Phone Bill
My wife (the wee dote) ran up a £350 mobile bill in 6 weeks with Orange. I bought her the phone a couple of months ago, set up in my name, direct debit from my account, and the contract had unlimited texts (which is what she normally uses) and 400 minutes (got this for "just in case") as I thought that's the most she would…

iPhone 3G plastic cracking
Hi all, I've had my PAYG iPhone 3G for just over 3 months now. My phone has developed one of the infamous hair line cracks between the silent toggle and silver bezel. The plastic has cracked right through, and you can both see it and feel it. I took it into Carphone Warehouse, but they won't replace it as it isn't a fault…

Orange Canary instead of T-Mobile Text Appeal
I'm currently on T-Mobile Text Appeal, but will be changing my phone soon and I'm interested in the Orange Canary package. Regarding Orange Canary: Is this any good? Are the free minutes you get dependant on how much you top-up? And would it be easy to go to that plan and keep the same number?
