My contract expires start of June, had a Ericsson k800i, with
500 anytime/network crossover minutes/texts
Internet add on
300 3to3 minutes
for £23 a month
Called them up last week requesting what they could do for me, and asked in particular regarding the LG Renoir being a decent looking handset.
He said I don't really use too many minutes but the best he could offer me was
LG Renoir
200 anytime/network minutes
Unlimited texts
Internet
for £25 a month. That's too much for me!
Reckon I can maybe get it down to less than £20? Been with them for 18 months, like.
Or if anyone can recommend a new network with a good tariff/fancy looking touchscreen phone then go for it!
Cheers

Ask for your PAC, as it's three you'll be innundated with offers. Got the Wife's contract down to £3 a month eventually with a K770i (new at the time), 500 min/100 text.
They'll be desperate to keep you, stand your ground and you shall succeed!0 -
Can I request my PAC code now then?0

Missed that bit. 30 days before contract expires, so you'll hsve to wait a month or so.
When bargaining with them do ask for something ridiculous as they may well offer it.
Wife's contract is up soon, but she'll be leaving due to reception issues. Is a shame as she'll end up paying 10x more elsewhere!0 -
I thought it'd be something like that. Cheers.
Wish I could get an iPhone but £35pcm is just too much for a phone0 -

"Like" 18 months?
Is there any other length of time that is "like" 18 months? :rotfl:0 -

That appears to be a standard deal that any new customer can get, so they're not really trying very hard to keep you...0 -
