Migrating from E2Save to O2

Can anyone help me with a query?
I got a 12-month contract with O2 via e2save about 13 months ago. I've seen a deal I like on o2.co.uk. It's important to me that I keep my number.
So, the question is: Can I port my number from O2 (e2save) to O2 proper?
Another question, do I have to give them a month's notice? How exactly does it work?

just do ur upgrade via o2 rather than e2save as ur billing is with o2 anyway. Ring 202 from ur phone and ask for retentions team. You'll get to keep the same number.0
