Home insurance with Policy Expert?
I have done my usual comparison and have been quoted by Policy Expert (VFM Cover Select) at a much, much cheaper price with seemingly a better cover than my previous insurer Sainsbury had offered me on renewal. Oddly enough when I did a new quote with Sainsbury (hoping to benefit from cashback) , it came out at £150 more…

Home Insurance Conditions – Door Lock Design Issues
Insurance companies are now very specific in what ‘design type’ and ‘compliance level’ door locks are in place before they will consider insuring you, which is fine, but…. What's the reason different insurers charge different prices?
For exactly the same thing ? - i.e. car insurance ? - or maybe any other kind of insurance? You'll type in exactly the same answers for all of them but some will come back cheaper and some won't. Any particular reason(s) why ? Thanks in advance.

After using three suggested insurance comparison sites now I'm getting spam calls.
So after I used the three main vehicle insurance comparison sites suggested by MSE I'm now receiving spam calls, texts (again). On each one I VERY CAREFULLY made sure I ticked/unticked the correct boxes to NOT receive calls/sell my details on. Most annoying.
