Gadget Travel Insurance

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with insuring gadgets for travel against mainly theft.
I am going to be travelling in the Balkans for about three weeks nomadicly, and I have a tablet PC that I will be using for Uni work while away. It costs around £900 which would not be covered by my travel insurance.
I was wondering whats the best way to insure it in the unlikely event of theft. I will be happy to get a different travel insurance/or one with a bank account... if it works out to be more comprehensive and beneficial for not much more cost.
Many Thanks

Home insurance, personal possessions or all risks section.
Since when did tablets get to that price? Even the flagship Apple tablet is less than £7500 -

Thanks for the reply. The tablet is technically a PC, but the insurers classify it as a tablet. Its a surface Pro 2 I upgraded to 250 GB samsung SSD. Its not as flashy as apple, actually its quite ugly so lower chance of attracting attention.0 -
If you have contents insurance you could specify it on the policy for cover away from home. You may have an admin fee to do this.
You may want to consider a general personal possessions cover which would normally cover this item and other things that you take away with you.0
