Just a bit of advice please:
I am looking for first time Motorhome insurance. I have had a few quotes but they are very vague in what is being covered.
Can anyone recommend good insurers adn what should I make sure is covered?
I am swaying towards Adrian Flux
Thanks In advance

What kind of motorhome is it and what do you need covering (contents, awning etc)?0

Try the following:
Saga (if you are over 50)
Caravanguard
Safeguard UK
Camping Club (need to be a member)
Camping & Caravaning Club (need to be a member)
We've been with Caravanguard for ten years but have recently switched to Saga as they were substantially cheaper (don't know why, as in previous years they were one of the more expensive). We shop around every year!
Buy a copy of MMM - Motorcaravan Motorhome Monthly magazine, most insurers advertise there.
Things to consider:
* introductory NCB
* excess
* accessories cover (awnings, TV/audio, gas bottles)
* overseas cover
* breakdown cover
Shop around and haggle!
Hope this helps.0 -
Hi
We have our motorhome covered by Shield Total Insurance ( the one with the little armadillo thingy)
We have found them reasonable and they do give an introductory no claims allowance.
We originally insured with them as our van was a self build conversion, but have stayed with them now we have a new van.0
