two car bump!!
Hi, Two of the cars in our house have bumped into each other - not saying who did it!! How do I go about claiming and do I have to pay both of the excesses on our policies? Would be better off just paying to repair the car that has the most damage and leave the other one that only has a minor scratch - it might be…

There is another thread on car insurance but I wondered if anyone knew how we can get insurance for a great grandson, Jake. Two years ago the insurance for his 17 year old brother in a £900 Ford Fiesta 1400cc was £2400 and he has been driving happily since then. He is now 19 and has now got a new Renault. The Fiesta was…

To garage or not to garage / First Direct
I recieved a renewel quote from Admiral. No suprise that it has increased by £130 despite my 6yrs NCB. So I rang them to update my details and said that I would start garaging my car instead of leaving it on the street. They say that this will increase the premium by £30! Which is a shame because I like Admiral and they…

I did a google search for pay as you drive and all the ones it…

Is it worth claiming for my stolen phone?
I had my lovely iphone 4 stolen from my bag a few days ago  and I wanted to know if I made a claim on our house insurance policy with Hiscox whether it would be likely to push up our premiums & ultimately cost us more, and whether I should try to absorb the (£450!) cost myself? Thanks!

No Claims Protection confusion
Hi, This is probably a basic answer, but there is something I'm not getting so would appreciate an explanation. My car insurance is due for renewal and I have built up 9 years of no claims discount. Redundancy protection if you *think* you may be made redundant.
Basically income replacement if you are made redundant. Obviously if you know you are going to be made redundant, it wont pay out. What about if you think you might. Surely in todays climate that covers everyone, so is it worthless.

Aviva Home Insurance Claim - anyone dealt with them - what to expect?
So last week, we woke to water dripping into our daughter's bedroom and into the lounge - right old mess.
