Extension - Flying Freehold
Hey We are in the very early stages of thinking about getting a 2 story extension (4m out, so will need planning permission). Our house has a flying freehold and the neighbours have a 4m single story extension. Currently we have no access into our garden via the shared alleyway, we have to go through our conservatory. But…

Stupid question about new heater
Hi I recently got a new electric panel heater and have managed to set it up successfully :j One thing in the manual confused me though- there is the option to increase or decrease the power. It was set on 10000W but it can be reduced right down to 450W. Should I do this? What will the impact be, will it be cheaper to run?…

Damp looking patches on outside brickwork.
Hi I have damp looking bricks on the outside of my house. I had cavity wall insulation installed in 2008. I can’t see any damp on the inside as the main patch is where the bathroom is. I contacted CIGA last year but they wouldn’t get involved as we can see no damp inside. I have tried to include some photos. Thanks

On Friday I had a replacement Drayton RF601 Themostat and Receiver Unit fitted after an issue with my previous RF601 that had done 11 years of serving me well.
