Electricians: internal or external, electricity cables to garage.
I am planning new garage/workshop that will be attached to an outbuilding that is itself attached to the main house (old with an higgledy piggledy layout.) I will need to get electricity to it. DAB Radio
I have a stereo which has DAB (a little Sony midi thing), the only aerial it has is a wire that plugs into the back. I don't seem to be able to get many channels, and some of them are crackling. Is there a better aerial that I can buy to get better reception on the DAB? Didn't quite know where to post this :o

Smart meter question
Hello all, My electricity meter is in a really inconvenient location which makes it hard to read - I have to move an appliance out of the way in order to get the cupboard open. Flooring for baths/WC
Hi guys, I'm buying a new-build and the purchase price didn't include any flooring. I'm planning to get the flooring done from a third-party as the builder charge me too much. Pocket doors - any recommendations?
Hi, We're currently in the process of redecorating a room to make a playroom for our kids. We've realised that a good way to preserve a lot of the floor space would be to install a pocket/sliding door system and as we're moving the position of the current door anyway, it seemed like a good time to install something like…

Choosing a heat gun
I'm thinking of getting my own heat gun and would value comments on which one might be best for my needs. It isn't going to be used very often. Mainly to strip paint off door and window frames - although I am nervous about using it near the glass panes in my front door ... I've found 4 locally - 3 by a brand I've not heard…

Identifying wood veneer
Hi, Anyone care to speculate on what the following wood effect would be called? In natural light it's a little bit orange - probably somewhere between the two pics. It's an MFI kitchen from about 7 or 8 years ago.... http://www.flickr.com/photos/7197193@N05/7905087804/in/photostream/lightbox/…
