How to patch wall?
Just been busy removing tiles which have brought big chunks of the plaster away with them - looking for opinions for what people would do to patch the surface, prefereably DIY rather than getting a plasterer in. The area is going to be re-tiled, so it needs to be flat enough for that, but perfections isn't needed. It's…

Hello After a great effort and a bit of help from a neighbour I have managed to clear my kitchen floor. I have a rather ancient looking fluorescent light in the kitchen which after flicking on and off for a couple of days has finally gone on strike. I presumed it needed a new starter which I've bought, but can't find where on earth it's meant to go. The only removeable bit I can find is a 3 amp fuse in the middle of the…
