Door Entry System

Trying to save money by changing my door entry handset myself.
got a new handset but cant seem to get wire right.

my old system has wires going into numbered ports.
1 - green wire
7 - orange
9 - white green
2 - white/blue
10 - blue

my new system has ports labelled I,R,T, O & Z

i can get the speakers to work so i can speak to the person outside and i can open the door but when they press the call button it doesnt ring inside the house.

anyone got any advice on this, please, its driving me mad.

might be an idea to name what make of system / manufacturer it is you have already and the name of the replacement handset, the two may not be compatable
