I am 99% sure that I want underfloor heating,…

Hiring a steam carpet cleaner
My friend is moving into a neglected house soon. Some of the carpets look decent, but they're filthy. Is it possible to hire one of those steam cleaners they use on programmes like "how clean is your home?" to see if any of the carpets can be salvaged? Or is it a job for the professionals? She doesn't think a wet system…

Fitting new UPVC front door
We need to replace our existing (very old) wooden front door (and ?frame) for a UPVC door. We hope this will be better for insulation and more secure than our existing door. Cold Tap - little pressure and hard to turn - what's wrong?
Hi, My sister's tap seems not to be flowing as fast/with as much pressure as it used to. It is the cold water one - so mains pressure. She's also noticed it's harder to turn than usual. The hot tap seems fine though. Please does anyone know what could be wrong and if it's an expensive fix? Many thanks.
