Frost Damaged Bricks........

I bought my house 12 months ago and I have carried out alot of renovation work throughout the property, However I have bricks on the outside of the house which are very badly frost damaged. (not just the face of the brick in some cases there broke in half)
I dont really want to take out every brick and replace as this is very time consuming but if I have too I will.
Anybody got any other solutions? or ideas? or easy ways and specialist tooling which may assist me in removing the bricks?

There is a tool called a pointing chisel, which is specifically for removing bricks. It is the thickness of a mortar joint at the front and then tapers so that it gets more narrow the further it goes into the joint. This is so it will not jam in the joint. It can be a bit tedious doing it by hand, but they work ok. I suppose that nowadays I would help the chisel by drilling most of the joint with a masonry drill.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
