Are rawl plugs needed for ceiling batons?
Hi I am going to put up batons on the ceiling and secure them by screwing them into the boards above (first floor), and then put plasterboard onto the batons. Do I need to drill out the beams above and put rawl plugs in or will just ample screws be sufficient? Thanks.

Finishing off insulation - vapour barrier etc
After several months (!) I'm now finishing off insulating our pitched roof with Kingspan - I've just got a couple of queries about the niggly parts I was hoping someone could help with. Homebuyers Report - are these big problems?
We have finally seen the surveyors report on the house we're buying (the mortgage offer came through first!). It raises a number of issues: 1."The rear path bridges the damp proof course which could cause dampness problems. External path levels would ideally be lowered to prevent this occurring." Repair category 3 (the…

I'd also like a cool…
