Intermittent hot water problem (combi)??

I'm having a problem with my combi boiler (Ferroli Modena). When trying to fill a bath, the hot water is intermittent - it gives hot for a few seconds and the goes cold.
Before I get someone round, any clues/ideas??
Please tell me it's not a major problem, pretty please.
