A couple of products from QVC might do the trick. I have used both and have been very impressed with them for sealing against water leaks.
1) Coltogum
2) Advanced multi bond sealant
The Coltogum comes in a tin and is applied by brush. Mine came with a small amount of gauze for sealing over large holes. The sealant comes in a tube and is dispensed by a standard sealant gun. It can be used under water.
The one that I would choose would depend on the access to the gulley and how large the crack was.
The best repair would be to replace the gulley. I guess that this would be a few hundred pounds. Worth getting a local builder to give you a quote.0 -
I was going to suggest resin and some gauze like that used on ceilings. But I see that Chateaunuefdupape is already suggesting the same thing. It is certainly what I would do if the problem were mine.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
can it be wrapped in denso
If not shutter around it and pour a slurry of concrete around itHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
Are you connecting your shower and basin to a stormwater drain? Chemicals straight out into the river........ (legality issues) anyway, not withstanding that, if you have acess to the whole of the base of he gulley pot then your best bet it to either plug the whole with repair putty that is water proof or as suggested above use a fibreglass type product. You would ideally want to redo the whole base to give a smooth surface to prevent anything building upSome people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!0
