Small bubbles in gloss paint
Hi, I'm trying to paint a window sill with gloss paint however no matter what I try I end up with lots of small bubbles (maybe 1mm diam) as soon as I apply the paint. Some eventually disappear but I still get left with too many for my liking. I've put primer on, I've tried painting over existing gloss paint, I've used new…

Need a New Combi-Boiler - Thoughts please....
Ok, currently have a Bosch Worcester 400 Highflow, which is starting to need regular callouts to fix. We have a three bed detached property, with groundfloor extension, and have had the BW for 12 years. The BW replacement would be the 440CDi (approx 97k btu and 29.2Kw heating output). Price appears fairly fixed at £1521 +…

Wiring in a hob - guidance pls
Hi, I have a used ceramic electric hob which I'd like to put in my new kitchen. Dead birds in water tank
Been up in the loft today and took the lid off the header tank for the hot water cylinder. Four dead birds in the tank at varying stages of decay, the most recent floating at the top! Smell was revolting. Anyways, we've drained the tank down and removed the birds and general sludge. Will go back up there tomorrow and plan…
