Wanna buy new PVC Windows & doors, but how do I choose the best supplier?

Hi savers

I am looking to buy some new PVC windows & doors (Hubby prefers wooden) but am mesmerised by the amount of companies and the options/choices available. Does anybody have any advice what I should & should not look for? We don't know where to start.

I am having some installed by Everest next week. I know that they have a reputation for being expensive but when we had lots of quotes they turned out to be very reasonable and there were lots of added extras which made us go for them. Also heard lots of nightmare stories of smaller firms going bust etc etc. Hope that's useful!
