How to access Cistern on Toilet?
I have an Ideal Standard toilet with the 'half flush/full flush' button on the top of the cistern. Before I can remove the lid i need to somehow disconnect these buttons. Insurance cover for building work
Does anyone have any experience with builders and insurance? We're having a single story extension at the back of the house. Our builder's T&Cs say that we have to claim on our household insurance if there's any damage to our property or our neighbours. Is this normal? It makes me think that they don't have liability…

Question about halogen recessed ceiling downlights
It's been a few years since I modernised my last home and there seem to be some changes in lighting products. A was at B & Q at the weekend to buy some halogen dowlights but I came away confused.
