How to make brown grout!

I am wanting to grout some tiles with brown grout, but can't find any in the shops. I already have some white grout, so is there anything I can add to it to make it brown? I thought about dark brown oil colour from a painting set I have in the house already.
Has anyone out there got any words of wisdom?

Hi. We used brown grout and also black for the floor. We also had grey for the wall tiles. It was from a local shop called Al-Murad. Google them as they have 40 branches in the UK. I think it was about £6 for a bag that you mix with water. They have quite a few colours. We've had loads of bargains from this store, mainly wallpaper. The one we used in my daughter's room was £4 a roll, but the exact same one was £8 in B&Q.0

We have an Al Murads in town. I thought there might be a trick to colour the grout, but if I can't then I will buy some there. I only need a small amount, it just for the splashback behind the cooker. thanks anyway tho':hello:  please play nicely children !0

You used to be able to buy syringes of pigment for colouring your own emulsion paint in places like B&Q. They'd probably work OK.
Failing this, I'm sure you can buy kits to colour existing white grout. B&Q or a tile shop might know.0 -
B&Q have UniBond Quick Set Waterproof Grout 888495 Rustic Brown 5kg/Up to 6.5m². Price is £7.48. Seems a bit much for the small job you have though.

My father added some coffee to grout to turn it brown - if it's not dark enough then just add some more!0

I've done this as well. Just mix in some instant powder and adjust as necessary.
Having said that it was 25 years ago and only to patch in a small area. I'm not sure how good it would be for a large area.0 -
I think I might give it a go! I will try a small amount with the oil paint and some with the coffee and see which gives the best result.
Thanks everybody!:hello:  please play nicely children !0
