Any Plumbers about?

Options
Evening all

I have a Halstead Quattro Gold Combination Boiler. Just recently the over flow pipe has been dripping and the pressure in the boiler drops right down to where I have to fill it again in order for it to fire.

This is happening regularly and I am having to fill it about every day now.

Could anyone give me a clue as to what the problem may be?

Any help will be greatly appreciated, many thanks
if i had known then what i know now

ive heard from various posts that it might be air in the system, check the raidiators on the top level.

Good morning: My OH, Corgi Guy, has dealt with similar problems on Halsteads... for starters it could be the pressure relief valve or auto air vent... see the FAQ on diynot.com 'Boiler Pressure Problems' for further info. http://www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=37170
