Our new kitchen is coming on brilliantly BUT the joiner who was coming tomorrow to cut sink/hob holes etc. in our worktops has let us down  We need this sorted asap as nothing else can be done unless they are in situ. I owe builders £10,000
I had a wet room built for my husband just after he had a stroke. The building was an extension and was an expensive addition as we wanted it to look modern and not clinical. We had a local builder do the job for a quote of 23k. He subcontracted so it took ages - I was pregnant when it started and my son was walking and…

My fridge/freezer gave up the ghost a few weeks ago and due to time pressure I only now get around to look for a replacement. Local shops so far proved to be fairly useless (and I don't like Argos/Comet) so after a bit of searching around the Internet I found that Sainsbury's was offering the best price on the f/f I was…

Ballpark idea of cost of moving external door please?
Our kitchen has a large double window, a small window and a door all on the same wall, like the layout below. 2' wall / large window / 3' wall / small window and back door (in one frame) / 2' wall. As the door cuts right through the kitchen work area, we're thinking about blocking off the door to the same height as the…
