MFI Appliances

Ineed a new integrated fridge, MFI seem to be well priced.
I was looking at the diplomat larder fridge.
Does anyone know who makes them for mfi and are they any good.
Any other ideas would be very welcome.

Part of the Furniture 100 Posts Combo Breaker
If it's a 50/50 Frost Free Integrated Fridge/Freezer, model number APM6855 then it's most likely made by Servis. Only had mine in as part of a newly fitted kitchen for a few days so can't comment on reliability yet.

i have a diplomat fridge freezer (built in) it wasnt a frost free one because we had a frost free one before and we had nothing but trouble with it(not diplomat) we have had ours over 2 years and had no problems at the same time we bought a diplomat washing machine and after 4 months it broke so we got a replacement but a hotpoint and no problems since
  • Thank you for the above two posts.
I decided to give mfi a miss.
I have gone for an AEG which should be with me by the end of the week.
Seems I will need a joiner to fix unit door to fridge door.
Someone was telling me it is not a simple job.
    Can anyone help with this.

    Thank you.

ive got the 50/50 frost free fridge freezer too and it is really poky compared to the freestanding bosch one i had prior to it, ive had no problems apart from in the first week the light bulb went and i had to buy another after about four days and then it all frosted up and mfi were very unhelpful and said it was still to be defrosted(didnt know what they were on about!) luckily it has never happened again obviously teething problems!
  • We have just bought one from Waterline in newport pagnell
    http://www.waterline.co.uk/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=RF010&cid=BuiltInFridgeFreezers&language=en-GB
it cost us £176 inc vat as they were having one of their clearance sales - we weren't bothered about capacity etc as we are selling our house & our old one has just packed up & buying this was cheaper than having a new condensor on our old one!
