hot tap won't turn off!

Does anybody know whats wrong with my kitchen hot tap. Its a mixer tap and for the last couple of months it sometimes doesnt want to switch off after its been on. To get around this problem, i switch the hot water off at the mains under the sick, the tap then switches off and then i can turn the water back on again.

today even this doesnt work.

so now i have the hot tap permanently switch off at the mains unless i need to use it.

it must be some sort of pressure problem but i'm at a loss at what the solution is.

it also might just need stripping down and cleaning inside. reassemble and try it. some of em use a ceramic disc inside and can get stuck with limescale etc.
    Get some gorm.
