black gloss marble effect kitchen work tops
does anyone know where i can get these from? Ive tried the usual Homebase (where the kitchens coming from), B & Q etc but the best they do is a black/gray speckled effect. Flashing energy saver lightbulb
Can anyone help? When I turn my light off (energy saving lightbulb) on the landing I notice it flashes all night. Just little flickers, nothing major, but I was wondering if this is safe, or have I a dud and if so do I need to bin it? Thanks

should all new gas combi boilers be condensing?!
still getting quotes for new boilers (fitting only as found one in B&Q for £400) and the 5th plumber i tried (some of the others are fully booked for 3 months!!!) said all new boilers HAVE to be condensing, so cost more to buy and need a waste outlet is this right? If so how can B and Q still sell non-condensing boilers?…

I’ve just realised I may be at risk from green pressure-treated timber which I bought from B&Q for use in fencing, decking, etc. Does anyone know if this stuff is/was treated with CCA (copper chromium arsenic)? stripping lining paper off walls
