does anyone know where i can get these from? Ive tried the usual Homebase (where the kitchens coming from), B & Q etc but the best they do is a black/gray speckled effect. Im after total black, marble effect laminate if possible. Has anyone purchased anything like this recently?
Many thanks in advance

Hi,
According to this picture Magnet do them. But couldn't find anymore information from the site.

Word of warning for you - Mr Loobeylou and I were looking for a very similar product and were recently advised by two different places that the marble effect gloss laminates can scratch extremely easily and begin to look bad after a while.
We were advised that even moving a kitchen appliance (ie a kettle) will create the same problem over a period of time. We went for the matt finish which is supposed to be much more hard wearing, although I do agree with you that the gloss finish initially looks so much better.0 -

U are totally right, I have fitted numerous glossy worktops, and they scratch so easily, also they are a b1tch to fit, as they are prone to chipping on the joint.....Unless you want a chrome worktop jointing strip!!1In this trusted place U can erase

We have a gloss black/grey worktop and it looks as though someone has been ice-skating on it! We were so careful not to drag any toasters/kettles across it, and clean only with paper towels. Ours came from Jewsons as we needed a 4m length.
Even so it does look lovely still when all polished up (with the lights off and through squinted eyes)
I think for perfect black shiny (scratch free) worktops then you need to invest in proper Marble or Corian. Hardly moneysaving though!! I'll keep dreaming!Only 5% of those who can give blood, actually do!
