Hi All I am redoing my bathroom, and my bath looks very tired. Theres marks and stains and it is an off white colour. I dont want to go to the expense of replacing the bath. I think it's a steel bath, (i cant tell for sure) Is there any product on the market I can use to give it a glossy white shine again?

Decorating Question
I am about to paint some of the rooms in my house. The house is a year old and has never been painted before, except the builders painting everything magnolia and white. Another central heating question
The Mother in Law has been complaining (for a change :P) about her central Heating making a repetitive tapping noise. Thought it might have been the pipes/radiators expanding/contracting but it still goes on after a few hours. Added some additive style liquid claiming it cured knocks and kettling and boiler noise but it…

Washing machine pump or motor dead - advice please
OK, it's a Hotpoint Aquarius 1200 Plus, the instruction book says it's for Models WM61 to WM65 but I'm not sure whether that's relevant. Not sure how old it is, probably 3+ years. It fills with water and it pumps and spins the water out, but it doesn't do any agitating in between. I thought it was just sticking, so have…

DIY.COM / B&Q Experience
Just thought I'd post a recent diy.com / B&Q experience. At the begining on December I bought two flush halogen ceiling lights from diy.com, and they duly arrived. A couple of weeks later I fitted one up and found it to be too dim for its purpose (dining room) - tried to live with it for a week but knew it wasn't right.…
