How to find out a historical value of my house
I am trying to appeal the Council Tax band that the house I have just bought is in. I would like to find out the value of the property in 1991, rather than base the appeal on the bands other houses in my street are in etc. All CT bands are based on the value in 1991. The house was built in 1990 so the amount it fisrt sold…

Make Tin Can Models
Stand by your beds. Went to a fair on the weekend and saw a stall that was selling Tin Can Models of motor bikes, aeroplanes, handbags, baseball caps etc. These were fantastic models and must have taken hours of construction. I have searched the web and can find no sites that would give a clue into their manufacture, only…

Get Jessops to Price Match
but they wont! I've been to three different Jessops stores trying to get them to price match both the Cannon Ixus 430 and Sony Cybershot P100. I've found both of them for considerably less than the shop price, on web sites for uk based companies. They'd knock about £30 of the cybershot, but wouldn't even move on the price…

Play copy-protected 'CD's' on your computer
Does anyone have tips on how to play copy-protected CD's on their computer? These are music CD's that have the 'Copy protected' sticker and logo on them, that have been tinkered with by the music company so that you can't rip them (copy the music onto MP3 files) on your PC. Fair enough but on some PC's (including mine) the…

Also they appear to be quite expensive (£50-60), using a quick search on google. Anyone found a cheaper one? Thanks in advance
