I am really really tempted by Sky + and I have read several people in the forums raving about it, but I just have a couple of questions (well three actually)I hope you guys can help me with.
Firstly, are they going to launch an updated version anytime in the near future?
Secondly, is there an output to a dvd recorder so that you can copy progs from the hard drive?
Thirdly. does anyone know if there are any deals available to get the cost down!! ??? ;D
Many thanks in advance

Hello
I have a friend who has sky+ and its brill.
In answer to your questions.
At the end of the Year, sky are bringing out an updated sky+ box with 3 tv tuners in, the current sky+ only has 2.
Yes, there is an output so you can record to either vcr or dvd recorder.
As a deal, not that I know of. I would get sky+ if I could.
But with a price tag of £199 and £60 installation charge, seem a bit steep as they are bringing out a new box shortly0 -
Thanks wagon, that's really helpfull.
I agree. it seems like a good idea to wait unless they start heavily discounting the current box.
