I am not in a chain, so I am not forced to exchange the three reasons I have not to exchange today are: 1. the vendor says via his solicitors that he has carried out works which I am yet to inspect. 2. i havent tested the services - should…

Does anyone know of any, everytime I google I seem to just bring up letting agencies and with credit referencing I don't think they'll touch us. Letting renewal fees
Hi How much can a lettings agent charge a tenant for renewing a residential tenancy? Your Move, Basingstoke, are charging £100+VAT, which seems very high for printing off a new tenancy with new dates, so I rang round other agents, and £50+VAT seems to be the norm. As I have no choice over the agent, my landlady having…

Repossession, eviction and renting
I am in a mess. For various reasons I fell behind with my mortgage about 3 years ago and although I have made payments when I have been working, to cut a long story short, the bank are repossessing. I have spent a year in Court trying to stop it and the same year trying to finalise a personal loan to pay off bankruptcy and…

Buyer unhappy with white goods AFTER completion
When I sold my house, I stated that white goods werent included - this was shown on the F&F form. Estate Agents miscommunicated this to buyer when negotiating price and told him they were. As a gesture of goodwill we included some to stop the sale falling through, but stated implicitly that the w/machine would not be one…

planning rules
my builder has suggested that the law has changed or may be changing shortly to make it easier for owner occupiers to get planning permission for certain works than would previously have required PP. this would of course, save on some fees. is this true and would it be worth waiting?
