Successful compensation from BA
I managed to get 300 euros from BA for a 3 hour delay from Tampa to LHR recently. Unfortunately another 10 minutes delay would have meant it doubled to 600, but hey, it was dealt with very smoothly and I got my cheque very quickly.:j

Am I entitled to Flight Delay Compensation???
Hi there On Monday 8th April 2013 I was due to fly back to Leeds from Faro (Algarve) at 12.10pm but we didn't depart until 15.40pm. The flight was scheduled to arrive at Leeds at 15.20pm but we actually landed at 18.19pm ( I got these stats from flightstats). So we actually arrived 2 hours and 59 minutes late and as I…

Flights refunded in full for Monarch flight to faro in 2011
Success!!! Our family of eight received a refund of £347 each for our 8-9 hour delay in may 2011. I just filled out the basic template letter on MSE from Nov 2012, and apart from a little bit of duplicate form filling for each passenger, it was easy! We received £2776 back a few weeks ago. YAY!!

Claim expenses for flight cancellation
Hi All I was wondering if anyone knows whether it's possible or not to claim expenses for a cancelled Ryanair flight? I was told that all the flights were fully booked for…

Flight delay compensation
If the original airline has now gone into administration, does this mean the claim has no chance??? We did not fly on the original ailine as a alternative plane was ultimately provided after 7 hours. It would seem not to be at all fair to make any claim against the substitute airline as the delay was not of their own…

Set off on time but then turned back - still a valid claim?
Hi We were on a flight to Sri Lanka in 2008. We took off pretty much on time, but after about 1/2 hour in the air the pilot advised that there was a technical issue and we would have to return to Gatwick. They put us up in a hotel and we finally set off the following day - 24 hours later. Would we still be able to claim?…

In January this year my wife and I took a Business Class flight with Emirates to Melbourne via Dubai. Delay compensation
We were delayed 8hrs last year and have been in contact with First choice. They say it was a technical issue because it was something to do with the weather radar. They say it wasn't due to poor maintenance or something that should have been picked up in the essential pre-flight checks so they dont have to pay…
