Hi all, I have finally been able to escape Spark Energy. She said she would escalate it (heard that many times before from them) but its…

Exit fees for changing tariff with the same company.
I was transferred to PfP Energy from the superb Better Energy when they closed. PfP have done nothing wrong and I am generally happy with them. Smart meter no longer dumb!
I had a smart meter installed a few years back by Eon. When I moved supplier a few months later the meter became dumb and stopped sending readings. I have just gone to send a meter reading to my supplier and to my surprise the meter has started sending readings again. Is this old news?

When I switched suppliers I gave a meter…

British Gas changed the tariff extras.
We renewed with British Gas, even though EDF were slightly cheaper because they offered the free home care . Now just over a month later so the cooling off period has ended, they write to say as we are existing customers we cannot have the free home care. Is this allowed or have they changed the agreement?

Solar / renewable hot water and heating
Hi, I'm contemplating a rather large investment into a new heating system, and wondered if there were any experts on here who can advise before I give the final go ahead. We already have solar panels, with a battery storage, which charges off the grid on an economy 7 tariff when there's no sun. Our boiler is about 17…
