Smart meter no longer dumb!
Options
I had a smart meter installed a few years back by Eon.
When I moved supplier a few months later the meter became dumb and stopped sending readings.
I have just gone to send a meter reading to my supplier and to my surprise the meter has started sending readings again.
Is this old news?

My Eon smart meter went dumb when I left them, and remained that way even when I returned (they said they couldn't reconnect and I had to wait for the DCC). When I switched to Octopus earlier this year they were able to connect via their SMETS1 system and my meters are once again providing readings.3.6 kW PV in the Midlands - 9x Sharp 400W black panels - 6x facing SE and 3x facing SW, Solaredge Optimisers and Inverter. 400W Derril Water (one day).
