Is a fitting of a smart meter mandatory in the EON Fix 2 Year MSE Collective Feb 2019 tariff ? There doesn't seem to be any info on this on the cheap energy club page. I hope it isn't as I have no interest in this until smets2 meters are being fitted.

Cd Solutions Offing to fix the issue..... just 20% off the incorrect…

Can I switch today without penalty?
Hi, I'm currently with Co-op energy for my gas/electric. My current tariff expires on 31st March 2019 (54 days from now including today). My Co-op bill says I will be charged £30 exit fee per fuel if not within 49 days of my current tariff ending. So my question is.... If I signed up with another supplier today will I be…

Normal Energy Consumption?
Hi folks, Wondered if you could help me with something. Mid-2018 my wife and I moved into a new build house, it's 4 bedroom detached with underfloor heating downstairs and radiator heating upstairs. We've had a bit of back and forth with the developer and the plumber as the downstairs heating isn't working properly.…

First time Switcher but when?
Hi everyone I read the forum & site regularly. I've finally decided to switch to a new provider for both Gas & Electricity. I've joined the energy saving club and have a list of providers and the savings that could be made. However, should I hold off until the 1st April changes come in, to take the best advantage? I know…

Ripped of BRITISH GAS!
We have been with British Gas for gas and Electric for some years. We had long been suspecting that their wild guestimations were wrong! They suggested a meter to moniter use we agreed and despite a whole year of stupidity and failed appointments and aborted fittings (sometimes 9:00 on Sat night) due to all kinds of…

utilitywarehouse
I signed up for both gas and electricity plus their credit card. On 16/01/2019. I later decided I was not happy with all the bad reviews and I wanted to cancel my order. On the 24/01/2019 (within the 14 day cooling off period.) I informed Utilitywarehouse via phone and email. All I ever get back from them is emails asking…

Dual Fuel Direct Debit
Hi, Searched the site but can't find a direct answer. Hope someone out there can advise. I've worked out that around £85 a month…

E.ON smart meters on Fix Online
I was going to sign up to E.ON Fix Online v8 today, but I notice during the sign up process that it says I have to "agree to have smart meters installed". I don't want them. This is not a "smart tariff" with variable rates at different times of day as far as I can see so I'm unsure why they need to stipulate I must have…

Help Needed Following Enforced Switch
I was until recently with Economy Energy who went out of business. The regulator has moved me to OVO. I was in credit by around £140 with Economy Energy and Ovo state they will honour the credit on the account (verbally, not yet in writing). The account with OVO started at the end of January. My first statement will take…

Best supplier after Octopus?
Hi All, My 12 month fixed plan with Octopus is coming to end in just over a month and want to switch but there doesn't seem to be any good options. I have really enjoyed being with Octopus and the customer service has been great (which is rare in this industry). However their new fix plan is estimated to be £100 more per…

248 kWh of Electricity in 12 days?
My agreement with my ex partner for child maintenance is to pay her energy bills amongst other things which I think is probably not the best idea. But at the moment that is what we have agreed. I switched last month from OVO to SO Energy & I have just got the final bill from OVO. The final bill is from 7th January to 19th…

No more Sainsburys Energy?
I've had an email this morning to say that my Sainsburys Energy contract will no longer be with SE but instead will be British Gas. I know that it was always BG in the background but am just curious as to why Sainsburys are doing this. Is it all Sainsburys contracts, and are they coming out of energy field altogether?
