In credit with BG when switching supplier.
I am switching from BG to EoN. Scheduled to go through on 2nd October 2015. My DD goes out on 28th to BG. This will put me in credit with BG. How soon can I get it back? Will I just request it back through my online account? Will I still be able to access my online BG account?

At my witts end with Scottish Power
I'll try and keep this as brief as possible. I switched suppliers in June 2014 and contacted Scottish Power to ask if anything was due. I was advised several times no. In fact I was issued a refund for overpayment. I even logged in online in October and my statement was zero. Then I start getting letters from a debt…

NPower: Incorrect Bill Setup
Hi - I'd be grateful for any help anyone can provide with the below issue! I switched onto an NPower Dual Fuel account back in October 2014 through USwitch. I've recently received a letter informing me that due to an error in setup, I have only been paying for one fuel. Now my monthly bills will increase by £120 per month…

My daughter has just bought a house (hooray) and is moving in bit by bit. She joined the MSE energy club and opted for a dual fuel deal offered by E-On. Electricty Meter Denial by BG
Hi folks, Has anybody ever come across a problem such as this? I will try to explain as clearly as I can. I moved into business premises in November of 2014 and was supplied the last electricity bill from the premises current supplier British Gas by the landlord. On the bill is what they call an MPAN number. I called BG…

So... British Gas won't insulate my roof
So i've just moved into 'new' old property and apparently because of the pitch of the roof and slightly awkward access, they wont carry out any of the work due to health & safety. My question is what other options do I have? Is there any point in contacting other energy companies? Also is there any point in submitting a…

Wibo
Just picked up the post to find a leaflet from WIBO. Never having heard of them I 'googled' and found all the posts on this site from 2008. Have they improved or have they just not been active in my part of the UK before?

Energy prices: Crumbs off the table
The MSE Big Switch 3 may well be the best on offer but the fact remains that energy suppliers have massively increased their margins in recent years. Wholesale energy costs have fallen by far more than the tariffs offered to consumers who are merely offered the crumbs off the table.

Extra Energy
Hello, I am an Extra Energy (Gas & Electricity) customer. I attempted to call them because of a disputed meter reading. Due to the reading being one digit wrong, my previous supplier seems to think i've used a preposterous amount of gas in the last 9 days of my contract with them! Anyway, the other evening I called Extra…
