Lord Paddy Ashdown's problems with Customer Service
On R4's 'You and Yours' today there was an item about Paddy Ashdown's failure, despite using House of Lords headed notepaper, to get any sense out of Skype's call centre/customer service department. 'You and Yours' have also received no response to several emails. Since Skype are obviously frightened by neither Lord Paddy…

NPower - Shame on you & Exec Complaints team.
To NPower's Executive Complaints Team & NPower customers, NPower are refusing to allow me from switching energy supplier due to the most simple of all issues - a replacement Electric Meter installed July 2014 stopped me from entering electric readings (Gas readings were unnaffected). We continue to pay a Direct Debit each…

Switched from Coop in February - Just had HUGE final bill!
We switched from the Coopertive Energy in February using the Cheap Energy Club, submitted final readings to old and new (Sainsburys) suppliers. New company is great and our DD has alrady gone down from £240 per month to £135 per month for combined fuel. Here's my problem. 7 months on, and I have JUST received my final bill…

USwitch comparison misleading.
Last year I was on a 12 month fixed tariff with OVO. At the end of the tariff I compared suppliers and decided to stay with OVO on a new 12 month fixed tariff. There were some tariffs that were a few pounds cheaper, but I liked OVO's helpful customer service and their on-line bill management. Currently I am 6 months into a…

Where do I stand RE energy company mistake?
I switched energy company about a year ago to one of the bigger companies who supposedly would be cheaper. I started off paying £40 per month Direct Debit. After a couple of months they decided this was not enough and increased the payments to £100 per month without my consent. This made them far more expensive than my…

Are energy monitors accurate?
Hi, This may be a silly question. I live in a block with four flats, basically like a couple of houses. If I get an energy monitor how do I know that it is only tracking my energy usage and not tracking my neighbours too? Obviously that wouldn't mean I was going to be paying for my neighbour's energy, but I don't want to…

Thought I would do this a poll; could you please read my OP before picking an option though. Many Thanks. :) The last property we were in had very high energy bills (£100 a month DD for gas, and £70 a month DD for electric.) It was a large old house (1930s) and quite draughty though, with only 6 radiators in a big 3 bed…

Cheap Energy Club Quoting For Non Eligible Tariff
Be warned, CEC is advertising Green Star Energy Unlimited Tariff 12mth 1209 to all for £1.53363 for gas and £1.46192 for electricity per day (probably different by region).
