I recently renewed my Extra Energy contract, new contract comes into force from Oct 1st 2015. Checking my Extra Energy online account I am currently £125 in credit from the previous contract.
What is the usual procedure for claiming this credit? or does the credit remain in my account for the new contract?

Would you not rather keep any credit there to see you through winter? In any case, even if you requested it from EE I doubt you would get it in a hurry.
  • I've been with them almost a year now and still haven't received a bill - I think I'm about £250 in credit.

So what value do you think the bill would be if it were to be produced today?
Lets hope it's less than £250 ... which is remarkably low.

Do you really only pay about £20 a month?
  • Been with them a year and a half and now moving to Sainbury's energy for duel fuel. You cannot get Extra Energy to answer the phone or reply to emails.Their prices are great but they don't send out bills.I'm in credit by over £600 to them at the moment and have had two bills in 18 months despite giving online monthly meter readings.
