Utility exit fees
I am looking at leaving my existing dual fuel provider, which I have been with for a number of years. My original deal finished and they automatically enrolled me in their new deals. I did not agree to these deals, just kept them rolling. Now I want to leave, they are asking for an exit fee. Is this correct as my original…

Advice needed
This is quite long, so please bear with me. We moved into a new rental property on 01/03/12. The Letting Agent did the inventory but forgot to take the meter readings and asked if we could do it ourselves. When we got to the property, we were unable to read the meter as it required a meter key. We contacted the LA who said…

Do I keep or ditch economy 7?
We are due to come out of a fixed term contract for our electricity in the next month and I'm wondering whether we should get rid of Economy 7 and go onto a standard meter. We dont have any storage heaters which I believe are the benefits of E7 and we use approx 20-25% of our energy during the Economy 7 period. Any advice…

How do you know if you are under a contract? Leaving eon sadly
Been with eon (or Powergen as they were then) for 10 years at least. They have always been the most competitive for me. My Saveonline9 ends on 30th August. Scottish Power is showing considerable savings for me. I can only assume eon wish to get rid of customers at present. What a shame. Its been such a long time since I've…
