Hi,
Only joined edf a few months ago on blue+ Sep 2013.
Just noticed that edf have a new blue+ tariff which is now fixed until Apr 2014.
Presumably i can just change to this no problem and extend my fixed deal (it is very marginally cheaper too) ?
Pretty sure both deals are penalty free

Yes, you can change online. Log in to your account, and there is an option to change your tariff.

In a day or so you will get an email confirmation. Same penalty free deal!

    Hi,

Just wondering about the Change Tariff function within the website in MyAccount.

I signed up to EDF Blue+ September 2013 a few days before the April 2014 came out. I've now realised this, and checked the tariffs for my area, and the 2014 one is actually 0.002p cheaper as well as a longer fix.

When I try to change tariff in MyAccount, it wants to put my direct debit up, even though I've not submitted readings or had any bills yet? The direct debit was set up based on my usage entries into uSwitch. Any ideas why it's doing this?
