Transfer from E.on to EDF - (E.on claim me back)
Anyone know what has happened here. I moved from E.on back in April my gas and electric, and my supply with edf (gas) started in June.
I since noticed that I had E.on DD still coming out my account so I gave them a call, and I was told that I haven't left them, however I clearly did because numerous times I had calls and letters from them stating to give them a call for a better rate (which I did and they was unable to match EDF's). EDF also confirmed (and I have a letter stating I had moved).
Anyway I called EDF and they told me that E.on had sent me some letter and I signed it to move back to E.on, which I wouldn't of done at all.
Eon's customer services is diabolical especially the attitude of there staff. I asked E.on for a ET however they said this was not possible, and I have to transfer in the same way again if I want to leave. My gas supply started today with E.on again, EDF supplied my gas for a couple of weeks.

If Eon have pulled you back without your authority, tell your new supplier and they should use the ET process to gain you back on the date Eon pulled you back, hence you never went back to Eon.
There is no need to go for a fresh registration as the ET process is there for this reason, when a supplier makes the error...otherwise you would have to pay a supplier you are not legally contracted to.
If Eon have your written consent, then it would have to be to block your switch to the new supplier or else it would simply be a new contract registration.
Tell them to produce it.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0 -
Hi richard
I'm sorry the advisors you've spoken to haven't been very helpful.
If we've re-taken the supply without your agreement then an Erroneous Transfer (ET) does need to be raised. Why did we say this wasn't possible?
Just a thought, but does the serial number on the meter match that on the bills? It may be EDF have taken over the wrong supply. Although, from the info posted, I'd say it looks more like an ET.
If it is an ET, either EDF or us can start the ball rolling. We'll send you back as though never been away.
