Huge bill from EDF...oh dear, the plot thickens.
Righto, I'll try and keep this as concise as possible. Moved into a property September last year, was originally sharing with another girl. I would pay her cash in hand for bills and rent since at the time I had a bit of a poo job. Worked out okay at the time. She got made redundant, I thought she was paying the…

10,000kWh electricity in a month?
Our electricity meter (digital display) advanced over 10,000kWh over the course of just under a month, which is a lot more than the 250kWh which we've been averaging over the past few months. Fortunately we have been taking regular readings, so there's a clear pattern of usage been established. Has anyone ever else had a…

Question for Eon rep please?
Hi, We pay quarterly, and are on the standard tariff. Our last bill was for the 8th Feb. The electricity price went down on the 27th Feb. Because they don't take pre price change readings, the bill will be estimated from the 27th to our next one due in May. I read the meter anyway, so I can see how much the bill will be…

Having been with Eon for years I came to the end of my latest plan with them last November. Eon wanted to increase my dd from £130 (I was in credit) to £162 for 2012 which was not unexpected but I wondered if I could do better. Quoting my exact usage figures for the previous year Scottish Power were best at £156 per month…
