Electrocard Meter - What does it all mean?

The electricity meter in my new "flat" is an Electrocard meter. The type where by i think you buy paper cards from your landlord.
So i was cycling through the menu last night and i just wondered if anyone could shed any light on what any of the following means.
KWH 08927.51 R1
KWH 08927.51 TOT
RATE1 000.00 PPU
STCH/UK £0.00
E.CRED £3.00
The meters credit has also been showing as £1.91 since i got the keys last Tuesday, although i havent properly moved in yet so nothing has been on much.
If anyone could shed any light i would be most grateful, Thanks!

KWH 08927.51 R1 kWh used on Rate 1
KWH 08927.51 TOT kWh used in Total
RATE1 000.00 PPU Rate 1 pence per unit
STCH/UK £0.00 Standing charge
E.CRED £3.00 Emergency credit
It looks like the landlord is just using it as a check meter to read your usage and is not requiring you to put in payment token cards, as the PPU and STCH are both set to 0 so the credit will never run down.
If the landlord collects the charge for electricity he must not charge you more than he pays himself - see OFGEM
Card meter info hereA kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
Check your rental agreement - a few years ago the Company I was then working for, rented a flat for 6 months for me ;I noticed that there was a card meter set up as yours appears to be - when I queried with the landlord he told me that the electricity was included in the rent.0
