Boiler scrappage scheme problem
My old elderly neighbour decides to go ahead and go for the new scrappage scheme. After receiving a quote from a company that specialises in that sort of stuff, he's talked into using his savings to upgrade his bathroom.
He goes ahead and the work is carried out. However he forgets/doesn't realise that he has to submit the boiler scrappage voucher prior to getting the work carried out.
He has since called the boiler scrappage scheme to be told he no longer qualifies as the work has already been carried out and paid for.
Is there any way round this for the poor old guy?
