New combi boiler quote
Hi I have just had a quote to change from a gas back boiler that is 25 years old to a worchester combi boiler this includes taking out the old one and relocating the new one to upstairs , parts labour and vat it was just over 4k is this reasonable ? I was expecting 2-3k am I wishfull thinking ?

Check what they say needs doing ... from what I've read elsewhere if its replacing something 25 years old then lots of regs have changed since then meaning that its not just a matter of taking old boiler out, putting new one in and reconnecting ... gas pipework to boiler and possibly electrics may need to be completely replaced to meet the standards required today.0
