Erroneous Transfer
Hi, About June/July of last year we switched our Gas and Electricity supplier from edf to Scottish Hydro. The electricity switch went fine, but the Gas didn't and nothing appeared from either company asking about this. In early December i decided to contact Scottish Hydro to query the situation and was found that Gas did…

First Utility
My Scottish Power Online Energy Saver 13 is due to run out on 29th February. Been with SP for a few years and have been very happy, but always checking to see if I'm paying too much. Tried a couple of comparison sites such as the energy shop and both came back and said I could save £160 by switching to First Utility. Not…

moving house from pre pay to pay monthly, who should we use
We were first time buyers in our current house with meters already fitted. So we always knew where we were with money we kept them. Moving next week and thinking of going to bills. Gas meter readings ft3 and m3
Hi I'm looking at changing my tariff and have been browsing my last bill. At present they have calculated my meter reading in cubic metres when my gas meter is actually measured in ft3. Example: Gas usage - 126 (cubic metres) with a calorific value of 39.5 is worked out as 1414 KWH. Anyone get any info this? Many Thanks

Hi all, Story is this: I'm with British Gas paying monthly for dual fuel. No dispute with the electric, just the gas. I went away from the 15th December to the 14th January. I submitted meter readings on the 13th December and again on the 14th January. When I left on the 15th, I turned the gas and electric off at the mains…

Electric meter readings
My electric bill was 3 times the last one (over £900 for the quarter) and as the meter reader had a hard time reading the meter (poor digital display, awkward location) I thought I'd check it myself.
